Taj Nadesar Palace – Varanasi, India

Calm amongst the Madness

Room Type: Palace Room with Balcony Access
Stay: 2 Nights

Arrival

A small boutique style hotel, it shares an entrance with another property so slight worry until you turn into their gates.

No typical indian greeting but check in was painless and taken to the room.

Room

I liked this one, furnished traditionally with a four poster bed, the room was light and airy, clean and comfortable.  The marble bathroom has a wash basin, free standing bathtub, toilet and separate shower.

We had access to the large balcony overlooking the gardens.

Size: 48 sqm

Dining

buffet style breakfast in the main restaurant at the Nile Plaza with local delicacies combined with a la carte service and traditional western breakfast fayre with healthy options

We enjoyed the breakfast served on the outside terrace, not a huge choice but good even though service was a bit erratic.

We had our evening meal in the room and that was very good, no complaints.
